Festive names needed for new police pups

A police force has invited people to suggest names for its two new puppies.

West Midlands Police said the eight-week-old German Shepherds had been given to it by Surrey Police.

The force needs help to name the pair, and has taken to social media for Christmas-themed suggestions.

The names of the new canine recruits will be announced next week, it added.
