Five more charged over alleged hate crimes at protest
PA MediaA further five men have been charged under the Hate Crime Act following a protest held outside accommodation used for asylum seekers in Aberdeen.
The men were arrested in connection with allegedly inciting racial hatred during the protest in Links Road on Saturday 2 August.
Three of the men, aged 57, 55 and 54, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on 21 August.
A 23-year-old man appeared in court on 27 August and a 21-year-old man was released and is expected to appear in court later this month.
Two other men, aged 37 and 39, were previously charged in connection with the demonstration.
