Murder arrest following man's death in street

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of another man in the street.

The victim was found in cardiac arrest in Newhampton Road East in Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton, on Friday evening and died at the scene.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at an address in the city in the early hours of Tuesday, West Midlands Police said.

He remains in police custody for questioning, the force added.
