Man released on bail after Sowerby Bridge death

A 75-year-old man has been released on bail following the death of a man in Sowerby Bridge.

A man in his 50s was treated by paramedics after emergency services were called to a disturbance at a property on Church View at about 16:50 BST on Monday.

Police said the man was taken to hospital but died a few hours later.

Detectives from West Yorkshire Police's homicide and major inquiry team were investigating but later said the matter was not currently being treated as suspicious.
