Bill Dziadkiewicz from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue says three fire crews attended

Bill Dziadkiewicz from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said three fire crews attended the scene and described it as "a tragic incident".

"An investigation into the cause of the fire is under way at this stage, though it's believed to have been started accidentally," he said.

"I would urge everybody to check that they have working smoke alarms, as these can provide a vital early warning in the event of a fire."

Hedben Moor Way, Hykeham Road, Moor Lane and Mill Lane were closed on Friday and a scene guard was in place on Saturday while specialist fire investigators were at work.

Police thanked residents for their patience.

Mr Dziadkiewicz added: "Our thoughts are with the family, friends and all those involved."
