Wife who ignored husband 'astonished' to become multi-millionaire

A woman who "ignored" her husband's suggestion to stop entering a prize draw has become a multi-millionaire after winning a £4.5m Lake District home.

Nicola Dickinson, 59, of Swindon, Wiltshire, has won the latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw - a monthly draw in the UK offering participants the chance to win multimillion-pound homes.

She said she had been entering Omaze draws for four years, despite her husband of 38 years, Martyn, repeatedly telling her she would "never win in a million years" – advice she says she is now very glad she "ignored".
