Bridge damaged in market fire reopens a year on
Sam Read/BBCA city centre bridge has reopened a year after it was closed following a fire.
The blaze last December broke out in a market that partly runs under Secklow Gate Bridge in Milton Keynes.
It reopened on Thursday after the city council completed repairs.
The council said that bus routes would return to their original scheduling.
"We thank everyone for their patience and understanding while these essential repairs were carried out," it said.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
