Huge scrap fire tackled by dozens of firefighters
Getty ImagesPeople are being warned to keep their windows and doors closed as dozens of firefighters tackle a huge scrap metal blaze.
Seven fire engines were sent to the fire at a scrapyard on Oak Lane, Kingswinford at about 07:00 GMT on Thursday, a West Midlands Fire Service spokesperson said.
About 100 tonnes of scrap material and domestic appliances are on fire.
No injuries were reported and more crews were sent to put out the the fire and move metal from the scene, they added.
