An 80-year-old man has died after being knocked down on a dual carriageway at night.

The crash happened on Oxford's Eastern Bypass between Risinghurst and Horspath Driftway at about 02:15 BST on Saturday, police said.

The pedestrian and two cars were involved.

A 28-year-old man from Dunstable, Bedfordshire, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death while driving a vehicle without a licence or insurance, said the force.
