Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death

A 75-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the death of an 82-year-old woman at a property in Lincolnshire has been released on unconditional bail.

Police said they were called to Elm Avenue in Cherry Willingham, near Lincoln, on Monday afternoon.

The force said the death was being treated as suspicious, but added it would remain "open-minded" as to the circumstances as investigations continued.

Officers said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death and the woman's next of kin had been informed.
