Woman found fatally injured was 'loving, patient and caring'
Police ScotlandA woman found fatally injured in a house in Aberdeen was "loving, patient and endlessly caring", according to her family.
Samantha Lee, 54, was discovered at a property in the city's Bedford Road on 4 Jan. Emergency services were called but she was declared dead at the scene.
In a statement released via Police Scotland, relatives said: "Our mum Sam, who always put her family first, was an incredible nanny, loving, patient and endlessly caring."
Joseph Greer, 39, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on 6 January charged with murder. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
The family statement added that Lee was "infectiously funny".
"She had a rare ability to light up any room and make people feel at ease, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and treasured memories that will never be forgotten," they said.
