Two people are in hospital with potentially serious injuries after a crash near a petrol station.

Four vehicles crashed at the Sutton Maddock roundabout on the A442 in Shropshire, near Telford, just after 14:30 GMT on Wednesday.

A man driving one of the vehicles, a van, was taken to hospital with serious injuries - while a woman who was driving a car was also taken with injuries which could be serious, an ambulance spokesperson said.

The police said no arrests were made and the road reopened by 16:35 GMT.
