A man has been taken to hospital after fire crews were called to a house in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Two crews were sent to Southborne Road at about 07:10 BST on Saturday.

The fire was on the ground floor of the building, and the man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The cause is being investigated but is believed to be accidental.
