Burglars steal £10k in cash from 77-year-old woman

A 77-year-old woman has had £10,000 in cash stolen from her home during a burglary.

Avon and Somerset Police said the theft happened on Glenmore Road in Minehead, Somerset, between 18:40 to 19:00 GMT on Friday 21 November.

The woman disturbed two men in her home, both describe as wearing dark clothing. One was about 6ft tall, and wearing a face covering with yellow on it.

Police have appealed for anyone in the area with CCTV or doorbell camera footage to come forward.
