A baby boy has died after being found in a life-threatening condition by paramedics.

Cambridgeshire Police was called to St John's Chase, March, by the ambulance service on 3 January at about 11:00 GMT.

The baby was taken to Peterborough City Hospital but died on 8 January.

A 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, both from March, were arrested on 3 January on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of Class B and C drugs. They were released on police bail until 2 April.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
