Four suspects bailed after Christmas Day shooting

The shooting happened on Wilfred Drive in Darnall

Four men arrested after a man was shot in the chest on Christmas Day have been released on bail.

South Yorkshire Police said the 20-year-old victim suffered "life-threatening" injuries in the attack, which happened in Wilfred Drive, in the Darnall area of Sheffield, at about 23:30 GMT.

On Saturday, the force said the man remained in a "critical condition" in hospital.

Four men, aged 20, 22, 28 and 29, who were arrested on Boxing Day in connection with the incident have since been bailed pending further enquiries, the force said.
