The hospitality group RW Randall LTD (Randalls) has bought the Big Red Group Ltd (BRGL) restaurant chain.

It will mean that the Channel Island group will own the three Guernsey restaurants in the chain, Red, Rosso and Tinto.

Randalls said all three restaurants have built outstanding reputations for drink, food and service and it was committed to "preserving what makes each restaurant unique".

A spokesperson said: "These restaurants are already thriving, and our focus is on continuity, stability, and protecting what customers love about them."
