Pedestrian in hospital after crash

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after they were injured in a crash, police have said.

Officers were called to La Grande Route de St Laurent, near Carrefour Selous, in St Lawrence, Jersey, at about 07:30 GMT.

The ambulance service also attended the crash which involved one car. The road has since reopened.

Police added the pedestrian's injuries were not considered life-threatening at this stage.
