Two people who were arrested after a woman was sexually assaulted while out running have been bailed.

A woman was running along a pathway off Iliffe Way in Stowmarket, Suffolk, between 05:45 GMT and 06:00 on 19 November when she was approached by a man who pulled her to the ground and attacked her, Suffolk Police said.

A 34-year-old man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and attempted rape and a 49-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on Wednesday have been bailed pending further inquiries.

The suspect is described as white, about 5ft 10in (1.8m) tall, of a medium build and was wearing a dark woolly beanie hat, a thick, dark rain jacket and dark trousers.
