CCTV appeal after teenage girl sexually assaulted
Avon and Somerset PoliceCCTV pictures have been released by police investigating the sexual assault of a teenage girl.
The victim, aged in her mid-teens, was walking in Tower Road South in Cadbury Heath, Bristol, at about 16:00 GMT on 1 December when she was approached by a man and sexually assaulted, police said.
Avon and Somerset Police has released images of a man officers wish to speak to in connection with the incident. Anyone who recognises the man pictured was encouraged to contact the force.
PC Yestin Penalosa said they recognised "how concerning incidents of this nature are" and were treating the sexual assault "incredibly seriously".
Police said the man who assaulted the teenager ran off in the direction of Cadbury Heath Skatepark. He was described as being of mixed heritage, aged approximately in his twenties or thirties and of medium build.
The man, who was also said to have short slightly curly black hair, was wearing glasses, a cream jumper and white trainers at the time of the incident, ASP said.
