A man had bleach thrown over him after an incident at a pub, said police.

West Mercia Police has appealed for witnesses over the assault which happened after a man was evicted from the Nu Bar in New Road, Kidderminster, at about 03:20 GMT on Sunday 7 December.

"The man returned and threw a bottle of bleach over the victim and then scratched his face, neck and arm," police said.

A man, 50, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and later released under investigation.

The victim sustained injuries but has since recovered.

Witnesses are urged to contact the force, or get in touch with Crimestoppers anonymously.
