Three men have been taken to hospital after an attack by a gang of 17 masked men armed with bats and metal bars at a garage in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police said the group turned up at premises on Gledhill Road just before 19:20 GMT on Saturday and assaulted the trio, who were inside.

Det Insp Andrew Queen said it was a "targeted, pre-planned attack" and that three men, two aged 24 and one aged 50, had been arrested.

The victims were taken hospital, and while one remained under treatment, all three were expected to recover, the officer said.

Police said those involved arrived and left in three vehicles, including a black Nissan Navara.

The detective added: "There is CCTV which shows the events surrounding this incident and I am hopeful that someone may have more information about the individuals or vehicles involved in this offence."
