We certainly know where Shellyann gets her talent from - her grandma used to sing with Sir Tom Jones and was actually offered a record deal at the same time as him but turned it down to start a family. Maybe we can orchestrate a reunion, imagine how incredible that would be! Shellyann is a single mum who balances looking after her seven-year-old son and chasing her dream. She’s been a professional singer for a year but always puts her son first - we salute you Shellyann!

Celebrity resemblance? “Sheridan Smith, apparently I look exactly like her. I don't mind though because she's lovely and very funny.”

Bad habits: “Yes, I talk too much. I go from one story then skip the ending and talk about something else.”

What was the last lie you told and got away with? “Well, my little boy and I went to the fair, and I won him a goldfish. Two days later he was gutted because it died. The big lie was I said the fish had left as he had to go on holidays to the beach in Ibiza. His reply was all my fish go there, what is it like? LOL”

Favourite unusual food combination: “Banana sandwiches! Is that strange?”

Phobias? “I am petrified of spiders and snakes. Anything with more limbs than me.”

Most embarrassing moment: “I remember walking into a lamp post and saying ‘sorry dude’.”
