Lara Lee

Lara Lee, nicknamed ‘Flo’ by her friends, is a 29-year-old from London. She’s a part-time youth worker for a music charity, working with disadvantaged kids. Lara left home at just 12-years-old; she spent some time living on the streets and on friends couches, before spending time in care. She wants to give something back and help those who are going through what she went through. As a side project she makes natural beauty products, which she sells in markets across London.

Superstitions: I’m part Chinese heritage, so no washing clothes on New Year’s Day, and also elephant ornaments in the house must face the door!”
