Morven Brown

Morven is currently studying at the Glasgow Academy and works as a receptionist throughout the summer at a law firm with her mum, Monica. Monica was diagnosed with cancer four years ago and Morven took care of her two younger sisters. Morven channelled her emotions into her music which made her a ‘strong individual and thoughtful artist’. Her mentor is her music teacher Alistair (a singer/songwriter himself) who has massively encouraged her, and sends her recordings to record companies all over the world. What a lovely man!

Celebrity resemblance: “Occasionally, I get told I look like Kylie or Kendall Jenner!”

Celebrity impression: “I could maybe do Janice from Friends.”

What did you want to be when you were little? “A scuba-diver.”

Bad habits: “Completely zoning out, also picking at my split ends.”

Most embarrassing moment: “Getting a piggyback at a party when my skirt ripped at the side.”

If money and reality were no object, what would you be doing right now? “100% a mermaid. Also, I would have a pet unicorn.”
