Karl Loxley

When he isn’t working part-time in a supermarket, Karl performs at residential homes, working men’s clubs and festivals. He also busks three times a week in Stratford and the first time he did this he attracted a crowd of 200 people! He’s hugely popular with the older generation and has a bevvy of elderly fans who come and watch him perform. His mission now is to make classical songs cool for a younger demographic. Good on you Karl!

Phobias: “Snakes! I had nightmares after reading the second Harry Potter book.”

What did you want to be when you were little? “An ice cream man in Wales.”

Most embarrassing moment: “I was seven years old and I performed a magic trick to lots of people at a holiday park in Cornwall. I forgot how to do the trick halfway through. It still haunts me now!”

Daily motto: “No is not a real word!”

Bad habits: “I can’t keep still!”
