The French number four has enjoyed a fantastic six months, starting with France's Fed Cup win at the end of last year and taking in her first two singles titles in April. After nine years on the tour she comes into the French Open well placed to try and make the second week of a Grand Slam for only the second time.
Loit only had a semi-final appearance in Bogota to speak of as a 2004 highlight when she arrived in Casablanca in April.
She swept through her next 11 matches, including Estoril the following week and a Fed Cup win against Germany, taking her ranking to a career high of 27.
The edge may have been taken off her game, however, after she withdrew from Berlin due to a foot injury and then lost her comeback match against Elena Likhovtseva in Rome.
