A true O’Hara, Bernie always speaks and mind and is quick to stick her oar in; often under the guise of divine intervention.
Bernadette O’Hara returned to Shieldinch to ensure her sister Theresa received the funeral she deserved and Bernie was not worried about who she upset in the process! She has a hostile relationship with both her mother, Molly, and her other sister Scarlett but that wouldn’t stop her. She defended Theresa to the bitter end and was able to say her goodbyes.
On realising how much it annoyed Scarlett to have her about, Bernie despite to stick around in Shieldinch parking her line in campervan right outside Scarlett’s One-Stop Shop. Since then she’s been mooching off her family in a bid to be “environmentally friendly” – or in other words cheap.
When Bernie caught wind of the upcoming Shieldinch panto, she decided it was right up her street and forced her involvement upon organiser Suzie. Whilst the two ladies butted head in the beginning, an unlikely alliance formed and with her rust bucket of a van finally breaking down, Bernie wangled an invite into Suzie’s flat.
Never afraid to make some noise, just what will Bernie do next?
