An irrepressible rogue, Angus is smart, witty and sharp. He's always had an eye for money-making schemes, not that they always pay off.

Ignoring his string of failed relationships, happy go lucky Angus will always have someone by his side thanks to his bromance with best mate Bob O'Hara. Bob supported him after a bout of headaches saw Angus diagnosed with a brain tumour, and then again through the breakdown of his marriage to Cassie.

After beating cancer, Angus turned his focus to his new family; Bob, Kim and baby Mackenzie. Whilst he’s delighted his best mate has found happiness and will always have a place in their home, Angus soon realised he wanted something of his own. His eyes wandered to Frankie Roth and, after a lot setbacks, the pair decided to give a relationship a go. Angus stepped up for Frankie when he discovered she was battling with bulimia and he supported her in a way only Angus could. But he was left broken hearted when Frankie decided to leave Shieldinch. Angus’s head was turned once more with the arrival of Nicole Brodie, but that romance ended before it had even begun when he discovered Nicole had seduced and blackmailed Bob out of his wedding fund.

When Bob and Nicole embarked on an affair, Angus was the first to make sure Bob knew he was in the wrong. But Bob had found himself embroiled in some dodgy dealings with Murdochs which ended up putting Angus and Bob in hospital. The pair since repaired their relationship and Angus, who had been in love with Kim, realised friendship was more important. So what’s next for Angus? Could love be just around the corner?
