Uzari & Maimuna (Belarus): 'Time'

Duo Uzari and Maimuna will represent Belarus at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Singer Maimuma of Malian parentage is fondly known as 'Moon' to her friends, and is also known as 'The First Violin of Belarus. She’s achieved success in her own country with two albums 'Queen of Africa' and ‘Showtime’.

Uzari is a professional singer and composer, born and raised in Minsk by a music-oriented family. No stranger to the contest he supported Anastasia Vinnikova in Düsseldorf as backing vocalist in 2011.
Uzari also participated in the Belarusian national final in 2012 and 2013. In 2014, he co-wrote the song ‘Sokol' for the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest whilst also finalising this year’s song ‘Time’ in the studio with Maimuna.
