Knez (Montenegro): Adio

Knez is one of the most popular artists in Montenegro where he has released ten albums. For his 2015 Eurovision Song Contest entry ‘Adio', he teamed up with Serbian composer Željko Joksimović.

Nenad Knežević Knez was born into a family of musicians in Cetinje, the royal capital of Montenegro. His solo career began in 1992 with a performance at the prestigious Yugoslavian music festival MESAM.
In 2014, Knez started working on his 11th album, which will be released in the summer of 2015. Knez was chosen by RTCG (Montenegrin Broadcasting Corporation) via internal selection to represent Montenegro in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in October of 2014.
