Maria Elena Kyriakou (Greece): 'One Last Breath'

Maria Elena Kyriakou was born in Cyprus but is representing Greece in this year’s competition.At the age of 12 she won the 1996 child singer contest of Cyprus and now is mother to three boys of her own.

With a background in academia, Maria Elena received a degree in Greek literature and humanities in 2006, and started working as a professor. In 2014 she won The TV show, The Voice of Greece and was mentored by the famous greek singer Despoina Vandi. As the winner of the show she signed a contract with MINOS EMI and her first album was released in July 2014. Maria Elena has recently started performing at the prestigious Posidonion Concert Hall of Athens.
