Amber (Malta): 'Warrior'

Even at 23 years of age, Amber is is already a Eurovision veteran. She has competed in Malta's Eurovision Song Contest national selection five times, finally winning the opportunity for represent her country for 2015. It’s not her first time on a Eurovision stage, she also performed in Baku in 2012, as a backing singer for Malta’s entrant that year, Kurt Calleja.

In Vienna she will be performing the song ’Warrior’, which was written especially for her and allows her to demonstrate her huge vocal range. Amber’s singing heroes are Etta James, Beyonce and Ray Charles.
Outside of music Amber enjoys voluntary work. She spent three weeks working for a charity in Tanzania in 2013 and plans to return this summer. She also spent time helping young kids in need in Reggio Calabria in Italy.
