John Karayiannis (Cyprus): 'One Thing I Should Have Done'

John Karayiannis is 20 years-old and comes from Limassol in Cyprus. As a child John listened to Eminem and Linkin Park, and even Metallica, but his interest in singing began when he discovered more melodic songs. John’s first brush with Eurovision and his first TV appearance came at the age of 13, when he participated in the Cypriot national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

John’s musical influences are now Ed Sheeran and John Mayer. His interest in Eurovision began 10 years ago when saw Cypriot singer Lisa Andreas sing ‘ Stronger Every Minute’ in the 2004 competition which gave John hope that one day he could represent his country at the song contest.
