Minus One (Cyprus): 'Alter Ego'

Pop rock group Minus One were chosen internally by the Cypriot broadcaster CyBC to represent the Island in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Alter Ego. The group consist of Francois Micheletto, Constantinos Amerikanos, Harrys Pari, Antonis Loizides and Chris J.

The band originally formed playing covers - classic rock and pop hits, but soon began writing their own original material. ‘Alter Ego’ is a collaboration between the band and producer Thomas G:son. This is Minus One’s second foray in Eurovision, previously entering the Cypriot national selections in 2015 where they were placed third (first by the judges) with the song ‘Shine’.
