Lidia Isac, 23, will represent Moldova in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. She tried to get into the competition as part of the duo Glam Girls in the national selections in previous years, but it was only when she went solo that she finally got the chance to represent her country at Eurovision.

She was born in St Petersburg, Russia, and has been a musician since the age of seven, winning a number of competitions during her rise to fame.
