Singer-songwriter Barei from Madrid has released two albums during her 15 year-long career, and she won Spain’s national selection for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with her song ‘Say Yay!’.

Her influences come from pop, soul and funk, including artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, OneRepublic, Maroon 5, Sia and P!nk.

She wrote ‘Say Yay!’ with Ruben Villanueva and Victor Pua. The uptempo song “emotionally reflects the common struggle for self-improvement; a rallying cry for anyone who fights to accomplish their goals.”
