19-year-old Laura Tesoro cites her biggest influences as Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson, which explains the pop funk vibes of her Eurovision entry 'What's The Pressure'.

The song was written by Belgian singer-songwriter Selah Sue and produced by British producer Peter Gordeno who plays keyboards for Depeche Mode.

Laura started her musical career as a child and by aged 11 she had a starring role in the musical Annie. A Belgian with Italian roots, both her parents had careers in music.

On 'What's The Pressure' Laura says: "The song has a very strong message. It's about how the world around you is so crazy, and about how you feel under so much pressure, but that in the end you just have to stop worrying about stuff and just do what makes you happy."
