【写真で見る】 パブやカフェが閉じた初の週末　イギリス各地では

新型コロナウイルス対策として英政府は20日、全国のパブやレストラン、カフェを同日夜から閉鎖するよう求めた。感染予防策として他人との接触をできるだけ避けるようにする「社会的距離」戦略の一環だ。

イギリスでは普段ならば大勢が、金曜の夜といえば仕事帰りにパブに集まり、週末には昼間から家族や友人同士でパブで食事をしたり、カフェで過ごしたり、レストランで外食したりする。そしてもちろんパブやバーでグラスをくみ交わす。大勢にとって日常の一部になっているこうした時間の過ごし方ができなくなり、他人から距離をとるようにと言われた初の週末、各地の人たちはどう過ごしているのか。
