Let's Get the Party Started!
Just a quick one to say HI and to try to get the ball rolling!
I just looked at the Teacher Blogger site to catch up with Helen's news and realized that it was time for the blogfest!!! Hope I'm the first to be posted! I missed the excitement of seeing my stuff on the Beeb's very own website! I also missed the interaction with you all!
We are all doing well and hope all you guys are too! I would like to get in touch with Amy who said she was coming to Turkey with her family. I would love to be your family's guide should you come to Istanbul!
Take care,
Simon
PS. Anyone heard about Marvin??

Hi Simon! I was sure you´ll be the first missing that excitement and allurement of this fantastic communicating system. Thanks for that lovely potato digger picture just right for the st.Nicolas celebration here!
Hi Simon, nice to see you again and your lovely daughter. Could you give me a favour and translate from English to English :"try to get the ball rolling!" PLEASE :)Unfortunately I haven't heard anything about Marvin :(
It's great to hear from you again. I always wish to read your blog more. Your daughter is sweet and pretty. I wish you and your family A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.
Hi Simon! Glad to see you again.I bet you have been busy to collect Christmas songs for your listeners on the Radio.Could you tell us which songs and singers are your favourite to listen to around Christma time? it would be great to hear from Marvin and Amy soon. Thanks for the pic of your daughter and have a good day!
Hello Simon, Nice to see you back again with your cute daughter Nehir. I hope we will have a great chat in this blog world.
Hello Simon! Glad to meet you at the same blog. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to sustain pleasant conversation in October. I do hope you remember my comments. From the other hand I was traveling around Thailand for 34 days! It was the first and very successful attempt to travel by my own as well as away from beaten track. Each single day I’d been planning by myself. As for my opinion, there are two Thailands: one of them is stereotyped by common tourists and another one is not only real but also much more attractive. I recon smth more or less similar may be discovered in every country. Turkey is very friendly for tourists from around the globe but as for me beaten track is boring. That’s why I ask your advise. What would be worth to know about traveling around Turkey as backpacker by public transport + rented motorbike and which web sites are worth to visit to become more acquainted with venues and facilities?
Hi Simon! Thanks a lot! I know you didn´t forget me :-). Tomorrow is my FCE oral exam. I hope I can manage to strut my stuff well ;-). I´m looking forward to hearing from you again, Ana Paula xxx.
hello Simon, I have not seen your banner on the top of the website, there are only 4 Lady teachers, no Gentleman Simon? Maevin, is one of a man's name, i seem to heard/read the name on the BBCLE student blogger on Sep 2008, and not for a long, then I saw Ana jumpted out. That for now. Nice to be with you, Simon, See you around, James.
Hi Simon, Its great to see you again on this blogland. Do you remember me Simon?. I'm not a regular commentator but i read all your posts. I'd say you're one of my favourite teachers on bbcle. However, i think you already started to celebrate the big day, i can figure out from Nehir's face -:). You're daughter is looking lovely. We all are eager to read your another blog:). Tc and bye Mahjabeen
