Hi dear Ann and all readers , This is my commnet for " time Blog " , as it didn't published i 'm sending it again : Dear Ann , I 'm keeping my finger crossed for your essay and I hope you to be ahead of time . I wish you a nice mum-kids party and thanks for correcting my comments . And how much it 's embarrassing doing minor mistakes , maybe they are n't minor , are they :-0 . As at the moment I 'm experiencing a hectic time in my job and my every day life and I have loads to do so I am leaving here with my home work :To have the time of your life : The time of your life that you are enjoying a lot and it 's really pleasant , for me they were my university time , my school time , My traveling time with my family and my friends and now , My motherhood time and specially chatting with my friends in English and of course surfing in BBC LE site ! In your own time : the spare time in your every day life that you can do what ever you like ( I really suffer from lack of my own time ) .• To have time on your hands : The ability of managing your time schedule properly and effectively . To move with the times : maybe to go with the flow and accept new concept and new ideas easily . Time is money : You must never waste your time as it 's precious as money is. Hi Anne: About yor last blog "time", I want to answer the homework. But I only want to talk about one of "time idioms", and I only will say one thing: if you listen to the song of ABBA called "Dancing Queen" you will listenig to the words "... having the time of your life .... " It's a nice way to understand the meaning of this expression. Do you, Anne and readers, want to do this exercise?. Hi Anne! It was nice to read both blogs from you and Xuan today. You are lucky sharing some experience about Hanoi, don´t you? And you revealed some interesting information about your names too. You may imagine that the explanation about the name ´Anne´ cought my attention, of couse, and I liked it much. As a part of my name I never heard this explanation. But, my mum told me that the name for me had been chosen by her mother(my grandmother) and I like it. However, when mum or dad want I come they call at me ´Mari´. Have a good day!

I also have a question to ask you, you used in one of your sentences ' no -s on the end' here my question is related with 'on the end' and 'in the end'I often get confused with their use, will it be correct if we use ' no -s in the end'. Hi Anne, So you speak French too! What other languages do you speak? I learned French at High School during 5 years. Then, since I didn't practise it for a long time I thought that I had forgotten everything but 3 months ago while browsing the BBC languages page I decided to start the "First Steps in French" and I realized that I didn't forget much. Apart from this language I learned German when I worked for a Germany Company but I don't like it very much. The language that I like most is English. I have to close right now. Hi Anne, thank you for the last two blogs. The blog on nicknames was interestingly confusing. Thai people really are different from everywhere I know of. First the spirit houses, and now the nicknames. So nice that you are now so familiar with all these and being able to explain them so accurately. It shows how you care about the people around you. The issue of nicknames among Arabs (in Iran) is not as complicated as it is in Thailand. The parents usually change some vowels in their kids names. For instance my son's name is Amjad, and we usually call him, Jud or Judy. His granma and his aunts usually call him Majud. One thing that I have noticed is the chanes to "U" that is very common. When I read Babu's comment, I noticed that we do also call him in his real name when we want to be serious with him. Of course when the child grows up, the nickname drops and he/she prefers to be called by his/her real name.

Hi Anne! Yes, as usual, the concert was great and I had fun watching it on telly. So do I like the rain.  Whenever I reach a goal or I sort a problem out or when the people I care most are fine I feel liberated. These are my magical moments. As for the house, I do not envy you. I would not be able to change house so many time. I bet you do not have many things to pack. Anyway, some years ago we moved into our current terraced house for the same reason.
