The sentence could be rewritten like this: "I’m still teaching international students, mainly come from Europe and Asia.(or mainly live in Europe an Asia)".The second try should be correct(in my opinion) but the meaning is is not exactly the same. I hope I guessed right. Now about the big clue in the title.I think it is connected with commented sentence. I suppose you have in mind ommiting a part of the speech that is understood. Hello,Samantha! I'm from the Moscow region, and I'd like to say that this winter Russian people discuss the weather forecast oftener than usual,since the winter of 2007 surprised us too! Winters in Russia are usually snowy and frosty, and lack of snow as well as green grass here and there in January...it's something strange! Meteorologists say that our winters are tending to become warmer in the future! But as for today, it's really cold,-20 below zero and much snow! The real winter at last.But I hope the temperature will have become a bit higher by the weekend and I'll go skiing as usual)) When it's freezing, it's not quite pleasant to ski... Marina.

Secandly,I couldn't agree more with you.People in my local tend to break the ice talking the weather when they meet new faces in the street and shops so on...and make a good conversation for a quite long time.Lastly,the weather hasn't been improved and it is bitterly cold.I have to keep my son in house today because he has fell off and he banged his mouse on the driveway while he was riding his scooter just before we set off to school. As the result of the accident,one of his frount tooth is wobbly.I told you I don't like this frosty and icy weather at all. Have a fantastic day!

I think the sentence should be written as 'I'm still teaching international students who are mainly from Europe and Asia.' And also, is 'who are'the ellipsis?

Well, if I am right, then I think that its verb is 'am teaching'. Now the question is wrong and teh answer is wrong as well,,, then :P I tried!! Hello Samantha. Thanks for your explanation about how to describe weather. Here in Brazil is cloudy, and sometimes a heavy rain falls. I didn´t find the meaning of ellipsis. In this sentense the verb is "come" used with mainly.Is this correct? The meaning "Ellipsis" You omit to write the meaning of the word The first time I have heard about the word which is interesting. Last four years wheather pattern is very strange. Even forecaster have problem to predict the weather for future, because the global warming problem. I hate people who pollute our lovely world but something we cannot avoid. We have to protect our world as much as we can. Hi Samantha, It sounds too scary to be lost in the cyberspace...This cyberspace really puzzles me, I always trust it with a lot of distrust. Well, as for the grammar challenge you posed, the answer, I guess, has to do with Ellipsis!! In the second clause we have the ellipsis of the verb "ARE" and the noun "students". You wanted to say that the students you teach are mainly from Europe and Asia.Am I right? Changing subject completely, I'd say lucky you who are under freezing weather!! I love cold days I feel more energetic and my humour improves hahaha!!Besides cold days are more suitable for hot tea, something I love- and right now I'm savouring a mug of green tea. Fancy a sip? Where I live is so damned hot that you end up feeling sluggish!!! And some days are so unbearably boiling- 43 degrees even in the shade of a large leafy tree- that the weather also becomes our local hobby. Today, watching TV, I heard about the weather in London, it seems very cold there. Almost all the comments I can read in this blog talks about cold weather. It's exactly the opposite of the weather here where I live. I am from the northeast of Brazil and here we are suffering the effects of the global warming. The weather here is extremaly hot and dry. As you all can see, none of us can enjoy the weather to do the things we want because of the extremities of the temperature. Of course I can be wrong espacially taking into account your prompt. I really have no idea what does it mean. Speaking about weather I have to say, that our natural conditions are very similar to yours. This year in Poland, We have very mild winter but today was heavy snowing day.
