It's just zipped by, hasn't it?
Well two months of blogging has come to this – my last post! I’d like to say how much I have enjoyed this experience. Thanks to Paul and Nuala at BBC Learning English for taking me on and asking me to continue until the end of September. This website is a truly wonderful place for learners of English and they can feel proud that their hard work is appreciated by people from all over the world.
Thanks to my two wonderful student bloggers, Jenny and Anita. Both of you have made the past two months a real pleasure and I’m really going to miss hearing from you. I’ve learnt so much form you both, thank you for sharing a little piece of your lives with everyone. I hope that I was able to help you a little and motivate you to keep studying and working hard. It’s clear to me, and everyone else, that you have so much potential – give yourselves a pat on the back!
Finally, I’d like to say a big thank you to all the readers who have encouraged Jenny, Anita and I since the end of July. You’ve made the experience more rewarding for everyone. Can I make a request, too? If you’ve been reading the blogs, but haven’t plucked up the courage to make a comment yet, please try your best to comment on one of the future blogger's posts. Don't worry about making mistakes, just tell us your thoughts. You may have a few butterflies in your stomach at first, but it'll be worth it...
Well, the next few months are going to see a big change in my life as Tomono and I leave Japan and move back to the UK. What does the future hold for us? Well, I hope to return as the teacher blogger sometime in the future and tell you all about it.
Good luck to the new bloggers, I look forward to reading your posts.
Bye for now and all the best.
Lewis (and Tomono says goodbye, too!)

So at last I pluck up courage to add my comment-better late than never ! Just want to say that I'm going to miss your posts a lot. You have no idea how I enjoyed all of them: delightful, easy language, clear thoughts, interesting views...They really gripped my attention.I Wish you the best of luck and hope to see you here again soon. ALL THE BEST !
Lewi, It is true that we the learners should make comments. That way we learn how to write. I want to write more and correct english. It is all in my thoughts only. in practice I am doing very little things. I must work hard in this regard. your blogs very much help me to improve my language. In the earlier blogs I found not much interest read your blogs. since you used many new words and phrases even though it is simple that made me confused. but later i realized that to acquire good language we must know many words. in the future blogs i will makecomment. wish you all the best for you and your wife
Dearest Lewis and Anita, it is a bit sadden to have read your two posts which co-indientally say good bye to us readers. I have been reading every single piece of your blogging entry (both you and Anita + Jenny). I even have the chances to hear their two voices thru the radio interviews. One thing I learnt is to write is difficult just like Anita said, maybe spending a couple of hours in front of the PC, looking up uncertain words in the dictionary. But it does worth it because of its reward in improving English. Your way of emphasising English words like preposition and collocations is the best way to enhance English Skills which make us sound like Native. However, to speak English fluently is still a very far way to go. But as a learner, I will not give up too soon. I have also told/informed any (almost all the) friends of mine to visiting your student/teacher blogs as frequent as we can. I can say it is the happiest days in my entire life in reading/expecting the events you wrote. I/We will surely miss you. Take good care and all the best.
