Crosbie, 483 yards, par four A virtually dead straight par four but one that cost Nick Price the Open in 1982.
The large bank in front of the green stopped his ball and took the momentum out of his round.
The fairway is guarded by two bunkers up the left and one on the right which are very much in play if the wind is up.
If you miss the fairway off the tee you have virtually no chance of hitting the green in two.
The fairly flat green is sheltered by mounds and offers a pleasant oasis of calm in a blow.
But a very tough par four.
Named after a small fortification near Alton.
