Hole 2 at Royal Troon
Black Rock, 391 yards, par four

Ken Brown
By Ken Brown
BBC TV golf commentator

There's a decision to be made here off the tee, depending on the strength of the wind.

Players can either carry the fairway bunkers if there's a strong breeze behind, or target an accurate tee shot onto the narrow fairway.

The green gathers the ball but is a difficult target to hit from off the fairway.

The three deep pot bunkers at the front are to be avoided at all costs.

Named after an offshore reef between the second and third tees.
