"I work in my shed and listen to Radio 4 obsessively, particularly the World at One. I wish it was an hour long. I use Radio 4 as a method of stepping ‘outside’ myself while I work but find the influences of what I’m listening to unavoidable. Four women to the left of the main figure in this image are Uzbek women who fled Uzbekistan after the Government massacre. When looking at past work I remember the things I listened to at the time of making."
