"My work is directly inspired by radio. It is in fact founded on the frequency and oscillations of radio waves. I took the FM dial and scanned it for static picking up all sorts of ambient background. I am an avid Radio 4 fan and the idea of an "invisible landscape" of radio waves permeating our world led me to a series of paintings and video works. This painting developed using the idea of different interlaced yet separate streams of oscillating rhythmic ideas. These are symbolic yet graphic representations of information streams."
