Brad Williams
Brad Williams
Born: 20/11/74
Team: Western Australia
Test debut: -
ODI debut: v New Zealand, 2001/02

Right-arm fast bowler
Right-handed batsman

Brad Williams has been regarded as Test match material ever since he burst onto the domestic scene for Victoria as a 19-year-old.

But almost nine years later, the paceman still awaits his Baggy Green Cap as the likes of Brett Lee and Ashley Noffke push ahead of him in the queue.

Williams was once the quickest bowler in the Pura Cup, but he lost his way for Victoria and needed a move west to regain it.

After snaring 50 wickets in his first season for WA, the right-armer was rewarded with a one-day debut, against New Zealand in January, 2002.

Though not quite as quick as he once was, the bounce and aggression that defines Williams' style is still evident and he should be suited to Caribbean pitches if given a chance.
