The New South Wales paceman is possibly the most exciting bowler in modern cricket. Since launching his Test career with a five-wicket haul against India at Melbourne in 2000, Lee has consistently been clocked just below the 100mph barrier.
But, after a series of injuries delayed his development, he was forced to realise that taking wickets is not all about searing speed.
Lee's development as a one-day bowler in the last year saw him take 22 wickets during the World Cup, gaining mastery of full-pitched in-swinging deliveries.
And, with injuries and bans hitting Australia's bowling attack, he looks set to be handed extra wicket-taking responsibility during this trip.
