QUESTIONS - Am just about ter bang in an extra socket under the stairs for me fridge freezer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And as a wanter make sure ma noot overlaoding me ring main am wondering 'ow many watts a fridge freezer uses???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??@?



It's something a can not answer!!!!!!



We all know the watts roughly of most 'ouse 'old appliances.... Butta fridge freezer?????



Can't be alot as yer leave it on day and night.... night and day 24/7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



If it was pulling a 1000 like a leccy fire then BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM yer leccy bill would be MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Am trying ter guess butta can't!!!!!!!!!



A washing machine 'as a BIG motor so am guessing that must use a fair drag.... Maybe 1000 watts but it's only on for upter an 'our!!!!!!!

It's a smallish motor that drives a thing that creates cooling.... a sorrt of mini air conditioner but way more efficent as yer noot blowing alotta air inter a building but just freezing a very small and efficently insulated area!!!!!!!

Am guessing 300 watts on full power say when yer first turn it on after being defrosted/ totally allowed ter thaw out/ been off!!!!!!!!

Which yer never do unless yer in my situation and living in a building site of madness!!!!!!!

I guess it automatically switches itself on and off.... Just keeping it's temp ter the required setting when it needs ter!!!!!!!!

So thinking about it maybe mostly a firdge is off.... Maybe just upter 30 ish watts for the light when yer open the door!!!!!!!

Which again goes off when yer close the door!!!!!!

So ter naswer me Q.... Maybe a fridge is a wonderful invention thatr we all tke for granted that uses a tiny bit of leccy!!!!!!!!!

At the end of the dee am well safe... Me wires are noot gonna started smoking with overload.... Yer can put as many sockets as yer like on a ring main... Just it's what yer plug in ter that that loads up yer wires!!!!!!

Quick "good morning" I hope the blogpoppets are well on this dank and foggy morning (at least it is here in the East).



I thought last night's show was great (though the sound took some getting used to) and Simon was great with the official bits. Not entirely convinced by Damon Albarn's 2LO Calling - the horn that seemed to go for ever in the middle actually made me reach for the 'off' switch.



Does anyone know if it's the 'music marathon' tomorrow? I haven't heard it mentioned but its a traditional part of the fundraising......

I really enjoyed the show last evening too. Like others, I wasn't sure about Damon Alburn's piece, but maybe you need to listen to it more than once.
